Re:M3 still not working with Win 7 or XP - 2010/01/28 19:42 Also, you are using Brian properly arnt you?

Using just the command prompt service you can drive th erobot around using just keyboard arrows.

In the .Net frontend you can drive the robot around using a mouse. You drag a marker to set distance, direction and power.

Re:M3 still not working with Win 7 or XP - 2010/02/03 03:46 I got the Brian service to work and talk. I couldn't get the BrianGui to work. It started, but I couldn't get it to control the robot.

I GIVE up.

I downloaded and installed Brain. I am trying to get the logitech rumble pad to work with Brain. I had all of these items working with Brian so I was trying to keep it. Oh well.

Thanks c6jones720 for all of your help.

I downloaded all the files from the 914 Whitbox robotics site. I have windows 7 installed. I installed the Phibget. I ran the M3 drivers and it successfully installs. But in Phibget, no devices are shown. The USB cable is plugged in. The power is plugged into the M3 controller and the red light next to the usb port on the M3 controller is lit. If I unplug the USB from the M3 controller, windows make a tone, recognizing unplugging and plugging it in.

Help. What devices should show up in the device manager is M3 drivers are correctly installed? What else should I need to do? I can't seem to get the M3 controller to talk. Any help will be greatly appreciated as I need to get this robot back up and working. Thanks,

Ted

Please note that the WBR .net controls do not currently work with Windows 7. I believe this is due to the low-level M3 drivers, but WBR are still investigating.
