Image Here is a project by Mike Peasgood that is underway at the University of Waterloo using the 914 as a research platform. Mike's research page has lots of information including several videos featuring a total of three 914s all operating together and avoiding each other, while trying to get from A to B. I understand that Mike is using Player/Stage under Linux for this research.

Note that many similar reasearch projects have previously used the red 'Pioneer' robot bases. However, as I undertand it these are around twice the price of a 914 at it's current pricing, so I expect we'll see more projects like this using the 914 in the future.

I'm going to add this project to the Enthusiast Projects section for future reference.
